Susan Yi

Writer / Director

Susan Yi is an LA-based writer-director currently working as an assistant to Penny Marshall at Parkway Productions. She has a BA in English Literature with an emphasis on Film Theory from UC Berkeley and an MA in Media Studies from the New School in New York City.

She is currently developing and writing a feature length film script at Fixed Point Pictures, producing comedy sketch videos at Oh Edgar! Productions (where she also works as a Producer), and developing a TV sitcom pilot.

With a background in narrative film, Susan has worked at Focus Features, Coolhunting, New York Women in Film and Television, PalmStar Entertainment, HGTV, The Discovery Channel, and Leopard Films.
