NHQ VIDEO + EVENT: Fooshed Smaces

Next Thursday, February 18 we are joining forces with our friends at KOKOROKOKO vintage to present a video installation in their storefront window! Come any time between 5-9pm to snack, sip, schmooze, and shop.

FOOSHED SMACES is a playful exploration of the intersection between the beautiful and the grotesque; of how easily the human face in its natural form can be manipulated by outside forces to convey unintended expressions, how the line between expression and disfigurement can be blurred by the direct interaction with an object as simple as a windowpane. This installation is conceived and created by Julia Miller with assistance from Kolakvideo.
